Safe Mattress
We used a Colgate Classica III mattress for our son for the first 2 years, until we watched an HBO documentary called Toxic Hot Seat which is all about flame retardants in mattresses and other furniture. After watching that, I saved up and bought this mattress. I am still appalled at the sheer number of baby products (swings, pack n' plays, bassinets, high chairs, bouncers, baby carriers, car seats, mattresses, changing table pads, fabric baby gyms, the list goes on and on) that are treated with these toxic chemicals. Our babies are very susceptible to harm from these toxins, and almost everything they touch is tainted with them. It's very disturbing, not to mention disgusting.
