Nice Contemporary Headboard but not super sturdy...

I actually give this headboard a 3 1/2 stars. It's plush and not smelly like vinyl can be and looks good in my room!! People tell me my bed looks like something from a catalogue. My issue is with the wood used to connect the headboard to the frame, it's really light and flimsy and I am scared it may break. I had to be very careful when standing it up to attach to my frame because I was scared the wood may crack. They did provided hardware to attach the headboard to the frame but the screws were too big so I had to make a run to Home Depot to get smaller ones. Its attached fine but that wood....I wish it was made out of metal, the picture makes it look like its metal. So be careful if you order this if you have kids that would be all over it or you like to pull on yours you may want to get something sturdier. But overall the actual vinyl part looks awesome and is well padded and stitched great. For the price you couldn't ask for more, it really livens up a bed!!!
