Beautiful -- once it's assembled!
In espresso, this is a beautiful piece of furniture. Assembled and in full working order, I would expect it to cost about 50% more or even twice as much as it is priced here. The finish is glossy and smooth. The wood is heavy. The design is thoughtful. For us, the chest was sized perfectly for the room.

But there are problems and challenges. The parts are delivered in an awkwardly large cardboard container that weighs well over 130 pounds. The UPS driver said it was 140, but who's counting? Still, my husband and I have handled heavy packages before and the weight of this one just reassured us that the dresser would be substantial once assembled. Then we took the cardboard off only to find the interior was filled with small bits of shattered styrofoam. It was a mess. But quick work with a vacuum cleaner took care of that. We carefully removed the pieces from the box and examined the instruction sheet to see what went where.
