Good Quality and Value
I was hesitant to purchase this with so few reviews and talks about gaps (I'm very picky and gaps/pieces not fitting together well would bother me to no end). However, this piece had the qualities we were looking for in the kid's room: a bottom open area for toys and a few shelves for books. I decided to take the risk and I was pleasantly surprised.
Building the unit: I have put together A LOT of furniture like this, from a ton of different manuafacturers. I found this to be pretty consistent with all of the others. The instructions were fairly easy to read, albiet lacking in extensive detail (like 99% of these types of furniture it seems). There was only one error that I found in the instructions (it was very minor and didnt impact anything) and the back panel was a bit tricky. The instructions indicate that you should install the back panel with the unit upright - kinda odd, but I decided to try it their way; this was a bit cumbersome, but not too bad. However,...
